Thanks for the tip! I ordered one from Amazon Smile, so I got a bargain and helped my charity, as well. Thanks, again!

I took advantage of the sale and had difficulty with the setup. I followed setup directions on my Chromebook and got the message "no cast devices found." I looked at Chromecast setup on YouTube. The videos showed setup from a variety of devices (no Chromebooks.) Setup was simple, but the screens were much different than those on Chromebook. Eventually I went downstairs to my Windows 8 computer to capture the problem screens. Lo and behold the Windows 8 setup screens were different from Chromebook setup screens and setup was easy. Ironic that software couldn't connect two Google devices.

I had no idea that a Chromecast could be used with a computer!!
I have mine plugged into a spare HDMI port on an LED TV.
It makes a very economical upgrade to make your "stupid TV" into a "smart TV." (grin)
The firmware is evolving constantly, giving the Chromecast more and more features.
BTW, as of today, they're still on sale for $23.
