One of the enduring problems in Windows has been the screen capture. That's when you copy what's on your screen in a picture. Sure, you can use Print Screen. That key is between F12 and Scroll Lock, on the upper right. You press the key, then paste the picture into something else, like Word. But those copies are pretty bad. What we've needed is a free tool to grab quality screen shots. Microsoft finally put one in Windows Vista—Snipping Tool. But what about people using Windows XP? If you're in the latter group, try MWSnap. This little program works very well. You can grab the whole screen. Or, just get the part that you want. That way, you avoid the top and bottom of the browser. Cost: Free Link: www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html
