Call your bank, ISP, or credit card company, and you won't be talking to a person. You'll most likely be greeted by a computerized voice. If you want to talk to a living person, good luck. Unless you know the drill, you'll have to wait for the voice or button command--and you know it'll come last in the list of menu options. Here's a shortcut: gethuman.com/us/. This site lists hundreds of companies, and the commands necessary to get a person on the phone. Of course, you'll still have to listen to bad elevator music while you're on hold.
