Nero Removal

I was trying to install a new Nero 8 on my system and i couldn't get the Nero 7 uninstalled.
I spent a few hours in regedit trying to take out files after the uninstall in control panel refused to work.
Still the new Nero said it found old version and wouldn't install.
Off to Google i went and yes others had the same problem.
On the Nero home page there is a download section and thats where i found the Nero clean tool. There is clean tools for versions 5 thru 8 and yes it worked.
I guess the first thing is to go to google and see if others have same problem before spending hours trying to uninstall.

Just like Norton. The only way to get it completely clean and uninstalled is to use their cleaning tool. I haven't checked but I have a feeling that Nero's cleaning tool isn't located right up front. Then of course, Norton's is located 5 layers deep also. (GRIN)
