with time off I've benn doing some Retro computing. 1. got out a 360K drive. 2. fired up the test machine in DOS prompt mode. (Win 95) 3.downloaded and ran 22DISK program.(format/copy DOS to CP/M and CP/M to DOS). 4. Formated some 5.25 floppies in KAYPRO IV CP/M format. 5.turned on the Commodore 128 in 80column mode to do CP/M. 6 Copied txt files both ways to make sure it was working. all this took some time ;D 7. then started my search for CP/M software. so far i have about 3 apps downloaded , transfered and running on the C128.

Hi Dilbert, I'm glad the C128 is working. Did you revive the C64? I've got a couple of key-caps for the 128 -- I brought them to the Christmas party, was disappointed not to see you. Got a few more 5.25" commodore diskettes too. Also a nice Dot Matrix with a dozen shrink-wrapped ribbons and the printer interface (or dd I already xfer the I/F to you?). Just say the word, and any/all is yours. Cherub

It takes a really sick person to play with CPM. WAIT? Next, you'll be trying to tell me that you still play lunar lander on your Timex Sinclair. (GRIN)
