When you can't compete, you either buy out the competition or litigate . . . . this is a "non-techie" reason why I respect the the FOSS movement. Next we'll see MS (or Apple) claim the swipe movement to unlock a phone/tablet is infringing on several "unspecified" patents . . . . .
