Basically, it shows you everything on your hard drive. It's great for finding forgotten files or programs. Best of all, it can help you clean up and save space on your hard drive. WinDirStat can display your computer's files graphically. Each file is shown as a box. And the size of each box corresponds to the size of the file. That means you can tell which files take up the most space with only a glance. The boxes are even color-coded. You can see where you've got programs, Word documents, photos, PDF files and more. You really have to see it to understand how intuitive it can be to browse your hard drive. You could clean up fast by spotting the biggest files on your hard drive.
