There are many free security tools available, and the list keeps growing. Here is another suite of free tools, CyberDefenderFREE 2.0, which includes a spyware-removal tool, virus protection, a spam filter, an antiphishing tool, and intrusion controls.
One very notable feature of the suite is the EarlyMonitor tool, which is part of the intrusion tools. EarlyMonitor can remind you of upcoming Microsoft security updates before they're actually available, and it also helps manage site passwords.
