I want to catch-up with a few CBS tv programs I've missed. And I want to do it using my tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 running Kitkat 4.4.2. [Yah, I know that 4.4.3. is out -- seems Samsung is slow about updating.]
So -- which of the many web sites do I follow for instructions? Is your Android phone/tablet running Adobe Flash player?? Can you play entire TV shows from ABC, CBS, FOX etc?
Seems I have to download & install Dolphin Browser for Flash player to work.
Interested in hearing how others have done this and the outcome.

Seems like these links should do the trick. Interesting that Dolphin browser has been downloaded about a hundred "million" times . . . . Here's the link for Dolphin browser download: DolphinHere's the link for flash on Dolphin: Dolphin Support SiteLooks like before installing Dolphin-Flash, you should also install jetpack: JetpackSo, . . . install Dolphin first, then jetpack, then Dolphin's hacked version of Flash. (at least that's what it seems to take, from a quick read of the appropriate sites - - be sure to get all apps from Googles playstore) I don't use my android nook tablet for viewing media (other than ereading) - - but the above should work fine if you get the right order of installs. It's also time to break the windows habit of downloading software from multiple sites versus an "official repo" (repository), like Google's - - - better & more secure. For media viewing, I like the Chrome browser with pepperflash (on windows, ubuntu or chromebook).

Chrome has flash support built in, even for Android. If you already have Chrome on your tablet, give it a try. If not, install Chrome and it should work for you.

Adobe does not officially support Flash on Android, insofar as providing the latest versions. But if your version of CHrome on Android doesn't have a legacy version of flash installed, theser older versions can still be loaded from the Adobe site and installed using this process: linkThere is also another version of Flash called "Photon" flash browser that you can install using Google playstore. Don't know how well that works compared to Chrome or Dolphin. Here's the link: linkAin't it fun just testing this stuff out . . . ? Let us know how you "solved" this . . . which I know you will (you're pretty stubborn . . er . . persistent).

OK -- 'early next week' has come and gone - and I have done NOTHING!!! But, last night, I fired up my old laptop which now rocks two new versions of Linux and I was able to watch several missed episodes of CSI:LA So with no extra effort on my part -- I'm happy to watch on my old laptop with super adjustable, swivel, screen and not too bad sounding speakers!
THANKS to Greg -- who installed Linux -- and has gently reminded me to try it. I did, and I'm happy!!

Thanks for the feedback Trudy! I'm glad the updates are working for you. You'll always have the latest Flash if your browser is either Chrome or Chromium.
PS . . . If/when you want to install dropbox . . be sure to get it from the Mint software center (or if running Xubuntu, from the Ubuntu Software Center) as it's customized for Linux and the Nautilus file manager.
