Thursday morning - about 8 a.m. our PrismTV service quit working. So did the landline phone. So did the Internet connection. No warning, no fading, no shaky service -- it just quite as if the switch was turned off. Using my hubby's cellphone, I called customer service. When I FINALLY got thru to a human, I explained that everything CenturyLink did not work. Jose set up a repair for Friday morning and would call when the technician was going to arrive. I reminded him that the landline did not work and to call the cell# I was calling from. Friday . . waiting . . it is now 2 p.m. and no tech. I called the repair number to ask when the tech would arrive. Well, it appears that the service call isn't for Friday but for Saturday between 9 & 1. We left the house and enjoyed the wonderful weather and our grandchildren. Saturday - the tech arrived and found that some battery in the unit downstairs had died - and he replaced the battery and some other unit. He checked every TV and the phone, all working, and he left. Saturday afternoon, I decided to read 2 days of emails. Then checked the spam folder - - - - and found 5 emails from CenturyLink advising me that the technician was about to arrive; that he found no one home, that he was about to arrive; that the problem was corrected and would I now please take a survey. Any ideas on how that survey turned out??
