IN the past two updates of windows 10 preview I have had to find chipset drivers, wireless network drivers, and vga card drivers. It does look like they are not including drivers for some hardware so you have to go out to your computer maker to get drivers. So far I have been able to use Windows 8 drivers to correct the highlighted item in device driver section. Microsoft might be leaning toward trying to orphaning some hardware. Maybe trying to streamline code they cut a few corners? They probably be working on windows 10 a little while longer till they decide how much Linux they can copy. I think MSFT is aiming for release this Summer, but it sounds as if they might have a ways to go yet? After Vista and 8.0, I'd rather they get it right than out the door on time but awaiting dot1 fixes. But hey, I'm still pining for XP.
