ps: for our club's Ubuntu or Mint users, pre-formatted usb-thumb drives have been available since 2004 (cost is about $20.00 for a 16 gb stick) . .
OR, you can just download the ISO and use "unetbootin" or "pendrivelinux" for free ($0.00 usd)
