Dvd drawer opens on boot

Had problem with dvd drawer opening every time I booted up computer.
Did a deep virus scan it found a malware and a couple virus which must have been the problem.
I know there is one out there called "cup holder" which open drawer to put your coffee cup on.
Don't know if this was the one but the deep scan caught the problem.
Quick scans didn't find it.

What program are you using to scan for problems??

using Norton I thought I had it cured.........but I booted tonight and the drawer came open again.
The burner file comes up but no item in folder to burn.

Is the infected Windows PC running an older version like XP? Or is it one of the newer Windows versions like 7, 8 or 10? Especially interested in knowing if you've tried using the MS AV program (MS Essentials??). (as that is what I use on my two dual-boot Windows-Ubuntu PC's).

It is running Windows 10 with Norton .
I think I have it fixed now...will have to see if it holds during then next few boots.
Those darn virus hide in memory if you don't reboot right after a scan.
