My screensaver wasn't working. Windows 10 has a number of peculiar things. A right click on the desktop brought up 'properties'. Once again, I set up my screensaver link. Noticed other tabs. Surfed them. On the Security tab, noticed, near the bottom, something called 'permissions'. Clicked on it. Not ALL permissions showed a check mark! "Write" was not checked. Checked it, applied it, tried it on Malwarebytes. It worked! Moral to the story: If you're getting errors saying you can't do that because it is against group policy, this is how to get around it.

Windows 10 did a update pack to my laptop yesterday and it said all files and programs are still in same locations.
Problem it messed with my browsers some of my links use IE and some the new Edge browser. It made them all go to Edge by default and my password program was set up to see some of one and some of others. I have some locations that do not respond to Edge. So I had to spend time resetting defaults for some of my shortcuts. also had to reset Classic Shell but that was only a one click change. I have a shortcut arrow remover also and it had to be rerun.
So much for updates not effecting programs.

I remain un-updated to win 10. With all these reported win 10 annoyances, I may just stick with my trusty Chromebook.
