The Recording Industry in the UK now says your personal music or videos can't be copied, even for backups. Don't have an MP3 of your purchased audio CD ? Well just buy the MP3 version of the same song you've already bought. Link |

I have gifted several CD's this year, and will gift more.
I buy them all from Amazon.com
When they arrive, they are factory sealed and ready for wrapping.
But, a day or two later, they also appear as mp3 albums on my amazon music site.
MP3's contain no DRM (digital rights management.)
I can now enjoy my gifted CD's online DRM free for as long as I wish.
Nice benefit for buying from Amazon!
