Amazon came out with a 5th gen 7" tablet just prior to Thanksgiving. It was priced at $49.99 A few days ago, it was "on sale" for 20% off, $39.99 I ordered one, and I am very pleased. This is a popular question. The answer below is near the bottom of the link page I posted above. Question: Is there a way to get apps from google store? most of the apps i want are not there on amazon store or they have the older versions. Answer: Yes very simple and NO ROOT needed. just follow the steps in this link.
