This is the first non-Android and non-IOS phone to hit the US market. Has been available for about a year in Europe and China/Korea. Main disadvantage to date, apps for Android not compatible (yet), . . . Main advantage to date: worlds first convergence OS (runs a mobile OS, and becomes a PC that runs Linux, Windows and MacOS). It remains to be seen how MS, Google or Apple respond - could be friendly, . . . or, . . . could be the opposite. LINKMeizu Page(note: Meizu is a major Chinese phone manufacturer)

Looks like phone available by June at this site: LINKWill have to verify which US/Canadian carriers will support (early indications will work on all standard networks, and be available on Sprint + 1 or 2 others).
