Yes, . . . I agree with the notion "why does the world need yet another tablet" ? ? ? Well, not another Android tablet anyway . . . , , , But, it would be interesting to see a non-Android & non-Apple tablet OS that has two distinct "modes". One mode is tablet only, with the expected tablet experience, BUT, the other mode is PC, so when the tablet is connected to a monitor & keyboard/mouse (wired or wireless), it runs as a PC with Ubuntu OS. (which also means it can run Windows via Virtual Box . . .) This scenario is called "convergence" - - and MS is working hard on it also - - and I'm sure will try to patent it to prevent Canonical or Apple from deploying it also (even though Ubuntu was first).
