The end of the year really packs in the holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Years Eve, just to name a few. This time of year also packs in family time. Chances are you're going to have a big family get-together. Why not bring something special to the table? I'm not talking about trying to upstage Aunt Sally's famous cranberry sauce. I'm talking about giving your family some roots. A family tree can make a fascinating gift. Family Search makes finding those lost ancestors easier. Its free PAF (Personal Ancestral File) software is a great start. It can produce family histories, pedigree charts and other genealogical records. You'll say organized. And as your family grows, you can add new branches. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints maintains Family Search. You're not likely to find any group that knows more about genealogy. Try it out, and get your family tree started. Knowing the story of your family's origin can be priceless. Cost: Free Link: www.familysearch.org/
