Flash Drive

I have a new Verbatim 1 gig Flash Drive which is not recognized by my upstairs Micron machine.

When I install it in the USB port on my machine downstairs it sees it as the "F" drive, so apparently the drive is not defective.

Can anyone tell me how to find out why the other machine does not recognize this drive so that I can use it?

Are you running an older OS on the Micron?
Win 98 or Win 98SE perhaps?
If so, you will need to install a special driver that you can download from the Verbatim site.
